Tiffany DiBenedetto graduated from George Mason University with her Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in Children, Youth, and Families.  Tiffany developed a passion for helping teens, young adults, and their families during her over 8 years of experience in the public school system providing support to at-risk youth. Tiffany has also received a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology, specializing in Assessment and Treatment from Argosy University. She obtained her paralegal certification and worked closely with prosecutors, victim services representatives, and law enforcement in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. She developed empathy and understanding for the various personnel in that field and the impact the work has on their families. Whether struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, boundary, or family dynamic issues, Tiffany is a caring and compassionate counselor who believes in taking a collaborative approach in helping clients reach their goals and empowering them to be active participants in their own personal growth. Tiffany originates from upstate New York and has settled in the Northern Virginia area with her family. She enjoys quality time with her family, being a part of her local church, and volunteering to support families within Prince William County communities.

Monica Cavalcante msw, M.Ed.

Monica Cavalcante, MSW, M.Ed, is a dedicated clinical social worker deeply committed to helping individuals heal through therapy, self-discovery, and understanding their behaviors. With a particular passion and interest in trauma work, Monica brings a focused dedication to addressing these critical areas of need. Fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, Monica's multicultural perspective enriches her work, enhancing her ability to connect with diverse populations and understand their unique challenges.

Monica earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), specializing in clinical social work. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Foreign Language (English/Portuguese) Education and a Master's degree in Education from Marymount University.

Monica's dedication to education and community engagement has been evident throughout her career. Previously, she served as a public-school educator, demonstrating her commitment to fostering learning and involvement within the community. In addition to her work in education, Monica has collaborated with various nonprofit charities, offering missionary support services to individuals grappling with addiction, homelessness, and family abandonment. Her comprehensive services encompassed educational training, counseling, self-advocacy, and support for reunification efforts. Furthermore, Monica has also provided assistance to asylum seekers, highlighting her commitment to aiding vulnerable populations in need.

Under the supervision of Robin Jahanian LCSW CSAC, Monica actively engages in research to identify and implement effective practices in her field, all while remaining steadfast in her passion for serving others.

Robin Jahanian lcsw csac

Originating from Northern California, Robin moved to the metro area at a young age. Although he remains a Californian at heart, Robin has established roots in the Washington metro area, receiving his Bachelors degree at James Madison University with a major in Biology/Premedicine. While at James Madison, Robin volunteered at Western State Mental Hospital on the forensics unit, peaking his interest in psychology and psychiatry. He then served at a therapeutic wilderness program for male adolescents (aged 10-18) as a counselor, performing intensive individual and group therapy on a daily basis. Robin furthered his studies at Rutgers University, receiving a Master in Social Work. Robin continued his training at Washington School of Psychiatry completing a training in fundamentals of psychodynamic theory Robin has gained valuable experience working in a variety of settings and clients, such as emergency rooms, inpatient psychiatry, an Intensive Outpatient substance abuse Program (IOP), high school social work, and private practice. Robin has been in private practice since 2011. He became a CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) and CAADC (Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor). Robin is licensed in the state of Virginia as a clinical social worker (LCSW).

Shirrie Jones lpc caadc

Shirrie Jones is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia.  She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from George Mason University, a Master’s Degree in Human Resource with a specialization in Marital, Couples, and Family Counseling a from Capella University.  She also has a Graduate Certification Professional Counseling, and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Shirrie has worked in non-profit, government, and in the juvenile correction system.  She has experience in providing therapy to adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and mental health and substance abuse groups. Shirrie is passionate about and has worked with adolescents since 2002; dealing with depression, anger, self-esteem, personal/social issues, conflict management, and risky behaviors. Shirrie specializes in working with couples who are in conflict and adults with depression, anxiety, stress management, post-partum, grief, bi-polar, LBGT, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Being a wife of a retired Marine she understands the challenges military family may face and is able to incorporate Christian principals in counseling sessions if requested. She is adept at incorporating Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Person Centered Treatment to create a detailed treatment plan for each client.

Alexandria Aliyev LCSW

Alexandria attended George Mason University and received her Bachelors Degree in psychology. It was during her years in college, that she focused on interpreting and coding psychology research. This included developmental studies, examining parent-child relationships, and physiology analysis at George Washington University. She went on to the University of Southern California and earned her Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration on military mental health. Through her graduate work, she spent time with many different populations including military personnel, couples, children, and the elderly. Her passion lies in working with couples and family units. Alexandria has experience with client advocacy, crisis and stress management, behavior modification, anxiety, depression, addictive behavior issues, PTSD, emotion management, and more.

Wister hails out of beautiful nearby Charlottesville, VA. He enjoys living on his farm, raising livestock and horses, with his wife and two children. Wister and Robin worked together at a therapeutic wilderness program for adolescent males. Wister is a Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Provider (LSATP) in the state of Virginia. Wister has extensive experience working with at risk youth, crisis, mental health and addiction counseling working as a TDT (Therapeutic Day Treatment) Clinician, Program Manager, and Clinician within the county’s mental health and substance abuse treatment system. Wister enjoys utilizing his training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and addiction. Wister received his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice at Radford University and then his Master’s in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.
