Originating from Northern California, Robin moved to the metro area at a young age. Although he remains a Californian at heart, Robin has established roots in the Washington metro area, receiving his Bachelors degree at James Madison University with a major in Biology/Premedicine. While at James Madison, Robin volunteered at Western State Mental Hospital on the forensics unit, peaking his interest in psychology and psychiatry. He then served at a therapeutic wilderness program for male adolescents (aged 10-18) as a counselor, performing intensive individual and group therapy on a daily basis. Robin furthered his studies at Rutgers University, receiving a Master in Social Work.
